While all generative AI tools provide 'information', some can also function as a search engine and due to their internet connectivity and search capability, they are less likely to 'hallucinate' sources.

The following tools are aimed at university-level research needs, however, Year 11 & 12 students may find these tools useful.

• Semantic Scholar  Free, AI-powered search of over 200 million scientific research papers.
• Elicit   can help you compare & evaluate your interpretion a research paper & locate other research papers related to your topic.

• DALL-E 3 is now part of ChatGPT. Note that the University's Copilot access includes Designer, which is powered by DALL-E 3
• Firefly from Adobe (trained on images from Adobe's stock image collection - see Firefly prompting suggestions)
• ChatGPT 4o
• Grok (requires an account)
• Gemini
• Stable Diffusion
• Midjourney (requires paid account)
